I am a huge fan of trails!
The purpose of this blog is to provide information on the progress of bicycle and pedestrian trails in New England. By “trails”, I mean primarily shared use paths for bicycling, walking, wheeling, and roller skating. Even though the six New England states have an abundance of wonderful hiking and mountain biking trails, walks and walkways, and on-road (designated) “trail” routes, they aren’t the focus of this blog.
There are so many local trail groups working together with municipalities, state agencies, partnering businesses, and national nonprofits to maintain and expand New England’s trail network. I want to add my voice to the chorus, hoping in a small way to link together and amplify their efforts.
This blog will aggregate news on trail project and trail planning milestones, provide informational resources about trails, and maybe include philosophical musings here and there.
I want you to join the conversation. I love talking about trails! Project updates, stories of your experiences using trails, and questions about New England trails are welcome. Get in touch via the contact link below.
